I have to be honest...I really wasn't sure how great this Christmas would be...I mean, how great COULD it be with my husband half way around the world?? But in all honesty, God was gracious and while this wasn't my favorite ever Christmas, it turned out to be a pretty good one...the kiddos got everything (and more) that they asked for from Santa, I got an absolute ton of things, we had safe travels, we're back home in our own house (hallelujah!), and we're only about
4 MORE WEEKS
until Kelly comes back home to us!!!! Who could ask for more?? So sit back, relax, and enjoy pics from our Christmas....
Texas has some of the most beautiful sunrises...this, my friends, is a beautiful west Texas sunrise in December... the cousins...Brendan, Corbin, and Kayla...the had a lot of fun together....don't get me wrong, there were a lot of fights and I have to say that my precious niece, Kayla, can really pack a punch (straight into Brendan's chest!!) Corbin absolutely LOVES his "Larry Boyd" (for those of you unfamiliar, there's no "d" anywhere in the name--unless Corbin is saying it...Thanks, Grannie & Pappie for the great gift--it was his favorite!!! Another funny one for Corbin...instead of calling it "The Wonderful Wizard of Ha's", Corbin calls it "The Wonderful Wizard of Pa's"... This gift (again from Grannie & Pappie) sure turned out to be a great one...you'll see it put to use a few pics down... Pappie....are those your underroos??? Brendan is really into Optimus Prime, the lead Autobot Transformer...did you catch all that?? Guess I'm getting better at being a mother of boys--I would've never guessed just a few years ago that I'd even know what an Autobot is--or better yet, know the differfern
The patriarch of our family...Memaw....isn't she beautiful??.... AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!! Corbin loves to be a pirate!!!
My mom and dad...Still sweet on eachother after 20 years... Aunt Holly & Uncle Phil... Aunt Lu and Uncle Bob...not sure what that expression is all about...but couldn't resist posting it... :) Me & the boys... I know these two are pretty much the same, but I couldn't decide which I liked better...I like the close up one except that you don't get to see the whole outfit...so I'll share both with you... Can you believe that I found these huge Spidey & Batman for only $.99 at Goodwill?? These are the stockings I made for the kiddos last year...they've made it through 2 Christmases!!! I'm so impressed (not of my handi-work, but b/c the boys haven't destroyed the cheap felt...) Uncle Brian got some beer from Grandma T...Kelly will be jealous...but what Brian doesn't know is that Kelly still has a whole lot of his home-brewed beer to come home to... Goin' to the park...
And I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't get a single shot of Grandma T...WHERE AM I??? Sorry Grandma T!!!...You know I LOVE YOU!!!
