We had a great time at the Family Retreat...we stopped along the way to get some bluebonnet pictures just in case none grew in Abilene this year...I can't remember if Corbin really was in a bad mood or not...this is often Corbin's "look"...rarely will we get a good smile from him in photos (unless we have him say something like "marshmallows!"...but then he wants one--or twenty)...
...we even got to see Grandma T, Great Grandpa, Aunt Melissa, and Aunt Michelle on the way home...it was nice to have that time with them...
After we got home, Kelly was the 1st to get sick...high fever, coughing, the snots, etc...then Brendan got it for a few days...then Corbin got it...as of today (knock on wood), I have stayed well...I think we're through it, but don't want to say it too loudly...We're still working on the new swing set for the boys...we went and got some free mulch from the city...wish I had a few pics to add, but just haven't taken any recently... Kelly really has done a great job with it and I'm sure there'll be lots of years with both laughter and tears...hopefully more laughter than tears...
As it often goes, the boys just woke up from their nap and are both crying for my attention...so off I go to be a Mom...(we're going to the zoo in a few to let Daddy sleep!!!...yahoo!!)
