Colorado City State Park-- October 2008

this is one of those "i'm soooo behind" posts...

we went camping at colorado city state park the weekend of october 24, 2008...it was a really fun time, but we definitely decided we didn't like that state park as the one in abilene (which is great for us b/c abilene is much closer!!)...anywho, here's a few pics from that weekend...

Lake Brownwood

We went camping at Lake Brownwood back in September...we stayed in a cool B&B that was right on the lake...it was such a fun & relaxing time & I can't wait to do it again!!!

The pic above and below are Kelly's 1st dive into the water...and it turned out to be a pretty dangerous one...the water was REALLY low and his belly scraped the bottom of the lake...it's so good that he didn't go straight down!!

This next series cracks me up...Corbin was the 1st (and last) to go down this slide...and when he got to the bottom, he ran into a huge spider web...I thought it was fun to catch the series of emotions/expressions he showed over a 10 second period of time...
